Labourer / Apprentice-Style Siding Installer (Part-Time) High Level Exteriors Ottawa High Level Exteriors is a family-run siding company focused on quality craftsmanship and long-lasting work. Our installations are currently done by a highly skilled installer, and we''re looking to bring on one person to work alongside him and learn carefully over time. We are hiring now. This position will start part-time, with the potential to grow into full-time for the right fit. This is not a fast-paced production role. We value doing things well, paying attention to detail, and taking the time to learn properly. About the Role You''ll be working closely, one-on-one, alongside an experienced installer, supporting siding installations and learning the trade through hands-on work and observation. This role is best suited to someone who is patient, coachable, and interested in developing real skill over time. We''re Looking for Someone Who: Wants to learn how to do things properly, not quickly Is comfortable being taught step-by-step Is open to feedback and willing to apply it Has patience and attention to detail Treats homeowners and their homes with respect. Experience & Requirements No siding experience is required mindset matters more than experience A reliable vehicle is required to get to job sites in and around Ottawa Basic hand tools and a tool pouch are required (e.g. tape measure, hammer, utility knife) There will be an initial working period at the start of employment, focused on learning, fit, and working together comfortably. This role involves sustained, physically demanding outdoor work, requiring stamina, coordination, and the ability to be on your feet and using your hands throughout the day. You should be comfortable with sustained physical work and aware of how your body responds to repetitive tasks.
