Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role requires excellent communication skills, creativity, and the ability to engage with children in a meaningful way. Bilingual candidates, especially those fluent in English and French, are highly encouraged to apply. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various domains including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration. Assess children''s progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs, including those of children with disabilities or special educational needs. Maintain accurate records of children''s development and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child''s progress. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Requirements Degree in Early Childhood Education Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential; classroom experience is highly valued. Strong organizational skills and time management abilities to effectively plan lessons and manage classroom activities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities (English/French) are a plus. Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and foster teamwork among staff members. Proficient computer skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and communication purposes. A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and development. Knowledge of special education practices is beneficial but not required.
