We are seeking highly motivated security professionals to provide exceptional oncall security services for our global ecommerce clients corporate offices in Downtown Toronto. Position Overview Position: On Call Security Guard Wages: $19.63/hr Location: Downtown Toronto Shift timings: Varies (Days, Afters, Nights & Weekends; preference for flexible shift coverage) RESPONSIBILITIES Deescalate tense situations by verbal communication using a variety of techniques designed to reduce risk. Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required. Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed. Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons and deny entry to unauthorized individuals. Conduct foot patrols on multiple floors, elevators and office space. Assist with coverages at various sites to enhance security at strategic locations. Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when breaches occur. QUALIFICATIONS Valid Ontario Security Licence Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate At least 1 year of security experience Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures, including emergency response. Excellent customer service experience. Effective communication skills.
