About the role: We''''re looking for a Manager, Corporate Accounting and Treasury to lead our accounting close, financial reporting, and treasury operations. You''''ll oversee month-end and year-end processes, manage cash forecasting, and supervise a small team of accountants. This role requires someone who thrives under tight deadlines and can balance competing prioritiesfrom GL reconciliations and financial reporting to trust accounting and cash flow management. You''''ll work closely with our parent company and the MSH peer group. What You''''ll Do Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely entries Prepare monthly reporting packages (trial balance, balance sheet, income statement) Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations, including complex and detailed accounts Perform foreign exchange revaluations and other required GL entries Support the Controller with year-end audit management Maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures Identify opportunities to improve close processes and workflows Treasury Operations Monitor bank positions and complete monthly bank movement reports Ensure timely and accurate bank reconciliations Develop and monitor cash flow projections for claims, premiums, and operations Lead special projects such as building a bank payment database or improving reconciliation processes Supervise and mentor a team of accountants day-to-day basis Set annual goals, provide coaching, and support professional development Handle non-routine transactions and guide staff Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and FP&A teams Respond to inquiries from the CFO, Controller, and senior leadership What You''''ll Bring Required Bachelor''''s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years in senior accounting and/or treasury operations Proven experience managing teams while juggling large projects Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and finance operations Proficiency with accounting software (Great Plains preferred) and MS Office Excellent communication skills and close attention to detail Nice to Have Insurance, brokerage, or MGA experience Experience with system implementations or process improvement initiatives Software troubleshooting skills Whats In It for You Hybrid work environment Employee assistance program Wellness account RRSP matching A generous amount of sick and flex days Opportunities to learn new skills, grow, and move into different roles A work environment that embraces diversity and promotes inclusivity.
