What you''''ll do for CNIB Deafblind Community Services The President & COO of Deafblind Community Services (DBCS) is the chief executive of DBCSs national division dedicated to supporting individuals who are Deafblind. This transformative leadership role is accountable for advancing the vision of a Canada where individuals who are Deafblind can access the supports, services, and opportunities necessary to lead independent, fulfilling lives. Champion and implement the DBCS strategic plan, ensuring measurable growth, innovation, and sustainability. Position DBCS as a national leader in Deafblind services and advocacy, shaping the future of accessibility in Canada. Align DBCS strategies with CNIBs broader mission and governance model, balancing autonomy with cohesion. Provide executive oversight of national service delivery, human capital, program innovation and financial performance. Build and sustain high-performing, regionally distributed operations, including virtual service models and regional hubs. Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate organizational impact, quality, and efficiency across all areas. Lead the modernization of DBCS systems, data infrastructure, and digital service delivery platforms to improve accessibility, client outcomes, workforce efficiency, and national consistency. Champion data-informed decision making by embedding performance, outcomes, and equity metrics into operational and strategic planning. Who you are Visionary leader, with a deep understanding of system level change in social or health services. Exceptional strategic, financial and operational leadership skills in complex, multi-jurisdictional environments. Proven ability to mobilize stakeholders and lead national policy and funding conversations. Advanced understanding of accessibility, disability services, and systems change. High emotional intelligence and cultural competence, with experience engaging equity deserving communities. We want to hear from you if you have Minimum 10+ years of progressive senior leadership experience in health, social services, disability services or not for profit sector. Demonstrates success in influencing policy, organizational growth and operational scale. Deep familiarity with Deafblindness, intervenor services or the disability rights sector is highly preferred. Post-secondary degree in a relevant field (e.g., Public Administration, Social Work, Health Leadership, Not for profit Management). Work Environment National scope with flexibility for hybrid work and regular travel. Occasional evening or weekend work to support community events, board meetings, and advocacy initiatives.
