The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking customer orders and delivering them to the delivery platform while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion. What does a Warehouse Associate do? Safety-focused operation of powered equipment: lift trucks, power walkies, pump trucks, and order picking machine Work safely and efficiently while adhering to all company and health and safety policies and procedures Effectively load and unload trucks/trailers, placing stock in designated locations Conduct final inspection of goods leaving the building Maintain warehouse inventory data system Proactively maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse, including exterior walkways and parking areas Communication with drivers for deliveries or pick ups, working as a team to complete tasks Take daily direction from Warehouse Supervisor Other duties as assigned What do you need? High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment Forklift and/or reach truck experience preferred - Raymond Reach Certification and experience considered an asset Commitment to accuracy and detail Experience with powered machinery Basic math, problem solving, and computer skills When you join Swish, you can expect: Membership in the Swish family - we treat our employees with integrity and always have, since 1956.
