We're committed to exploring and developing mining projects for the future, while pioneering sustainable practices that ensure responsible mining and effective mine closure.Role OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Entry-level Geochemist with a strong interest in data, analytics, and computational tools to support environmental, mining, and exploration geochemistry programs. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong foundation in geochemistry and enjoys working with large datasets, building reproducible workflows, and moving beyond complex Excel-based analyses.The ideal candidate will primarily support mine-related geochemical testing programs, while also contributing to exploration geochemistry data analysis. The role is designed to build a strong technical foundation under the guidance of senior geochemists.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport mine-related geochemical testing programs (e.g., static tests, kinetic tests, water quality datasets)Manage, clean, and QA/QC geochemical datasets (laboratory and field data)Develop automated workflows using Python and/or R for data processing, analysis, and visualizationAssist with analysis and interpretation of exploration geochemistry data (soil, rock, drilling datasets)Prepare tables, figures, and summaries for technical reportsHelp transition complex spreadsheet-based workflows into reproducible, auditable toolsCollaborate with senior staff to ensure data integrity and traceabilityQualifications & ExperienceB.Sc. degree in Earth Science, Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or a related field0-2 years experienceEligible for G.I.T.
