Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Maintenance/Service Supervisor to oversee the servicing and repair of equipment as well as employee selection, training and safety for all assigned projects.On a typical day you will:Lead the performance of field operations for all service/maintenance projectsMaintain project schedules and ensure deadlines are metDevelop action plans to address deficiencies regarding safety, callback rates, and technical supportGenerate field leads and assist service sales representatives in selling upgrades and repairsRecommend and detail changes in maintenance service documentation, methods, process, design, and deliverySet budgets for material and labor within Otis guidelines and complete the required maintenance and repair within those budgetsConduct field education training ensuring that we create and maintain a safe working environmentPerform field safety audits, jobsite inspections, and develop site safety/logistics plansCoordinate all material deliveries and issuing purchase ordersForecast and schedule labor resources, maintaining customer quality assurance, and improving efficienciesDevelop and maintain professional and productive relationships with co-workers, field employees, clients, and others in contact with the jobWhat you will need to be successful:Education / CertificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; bachelors degree preferredBasic QualificationsAbility to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environmentCandidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customersNeed to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilitiesSuccessful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer softwareStrong leadership skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsElevator industry experience or experience leading field level associates/technicians in a similar industry preferredKnowledge of elevators, elevator service contracting, and elevator service estimating desiredOtis is the worlds largest elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation and service business.
