This role is ideal for someone early in their analytics career who is eager to learn and contribute to data-driven decision-making, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. You will support senior analysts and business stakeholders by collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data to uncover insights and drive operational efficiency.ResponsibilitiesAssist in gathering, validating, and organizing data from various sources including Azure SQL databases and ExcelConduct basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in business operationsEnsure data accuracy and completeness in reports and dashboardsDevelop and maintain SQL databases to supporting reporting requirementsLead the development of dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BICreate visually engaging and user-friendly reports to communicate insights to business usersHelp maintain and update existing reporting tools and templatesAssist in preparing financial and operational reports, including cost analysis and forecastingContribute to the development of simple financial models under guidanceParticipate in evaluating business needs and identifying opportunities for data-driven improvementsSupport preparation of month end deliverables to Finance and understanding the key business drivers to explain variances and anomaliesDocument current workflows and identify inefficiencies through data and stakeholder inputSupport small-scale process improvement initiatives and automation effortsApply design-thinking and user-focused approaches to improve data usability and accessibilityWork closely with business teams to understand reporting and data needsCommunicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersLearn from senior team members and participate in training and mentorship opportunitiesQualificationsPost-secondary education in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)3-5 years hands on experience using Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack with primary focus on Power BIWorking knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases, warehouses and data lakes in Azure SQL DBIntegration environment, incl. utilization in Logic Apps, Function Apps, Functions, and API Management.Knowledge of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) is a must.Experience in modelling and data visualization; working with different data schemas and BI implementation methodologies.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts, graphs)Strong attention to detail and analytical thinkingGood communication and collaboration skillsEagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, data-driven environmentCompensation: $69,136 - $110,618Please note that the compensation range listed includes base salary and potential incentive pay. Incentives such as bonuses are not guaranteed and depend on individual performance and company results.
