Our success stems from our ability to identify opportunities where others see challenges and consistently deliver strong results for our clients/tenants.Position OverviewThe Construction Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects across Leyads portfolio. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in alignment with organizational objectives. The Project Manager will oversee both large-scale developments and multiple smaller projects concurrently, managing all aspects of construction from pre-construction through project close-out.Key ResponsibilitiesLead construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with design specifications, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.Support estimating and budgeting processes, including review of contractor bids, scope evaluation, and cost forecasting.Develop and manage detailed project schedules, coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and consultants to meet key milestones.Monitor project budgets, oversee cost control measures, manage change orders, and ensure financial targets are met.Implement and enforce quality control procedures to guarantee high standards across all construction deliverables.Identify and mitigate project risks, providing timely updates and recommendations to senior leadership.Facilitate procurement, contract administration, and coordination with vendors, subcontractors, and clients/tenants.Ensure site safety and adherence to occupational health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety across projects.QualificationsDegree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of technical training and experience.35 years of experience managing construction projects, preferably in commercial or mixed-use real estate.Key CompetenciesStrong organizational, planning, and decision-making skills.Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.Ability to collaborate in complex, fast-paced project environments.Travel RequirementsTravel to construction sites across Canada may be required.Why Join LeyadAt Leyad, youll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team that values integrity, innovation, and excellence.
