(Entropy), is a new clean-tech carbon capture and sequestration company with its first project underway at Advantages Glacier Gas Plant and strategic investments from both Brookfield Renewable and the Canada Growth Fund.Advantage is actively seeking Gas Plant Contract Operators to join our team in the Progress East Field, Saddle Hills Region to assist in startup and daily operation of our new 75 mmscf/d sour gas plant and corresponding well sites. Preference will be given to candidates residing in the Grande Prairie region.These positions will report to the Lead, Operator and are full-time, contract positions.These roles are responsible for performing daily operational checks in both the plant and field to ensure equipment is operating at maximum efficiency with minimum down time in a safe and effective manner. This position is eligible for overtime, travel time, and night-shift differential.Key Responsibilities:Start-up and operation of our new 75 mmscf/d sour gas plant processing facility (inlet separation, compression, amine, refrig, acid gas and water injection).Start-up and operation of multi-well pads with a variety of gas lift, ESP and/or PJs, and wellhead facilities (compression, chemical injection, sand separation, etc.).Optimize and ensure strong run time of existing production base.Participate in frequent hazard and risk assessments to identify and mitigate risks in a dynamic operational environment.Ensure operations are conducted in a safe and cost-effective manner while adhering to all regulatory and environmental regulations.Interact directly with field leadership and the Calgary technical/engineering teams to achieve the Companys goals.Engage and participate in the growth of the Company while providing input on continuous improvement of practices, procedures and designs.Qualifications and Education Requirements:In-depth knowledge of sour production facilities including all areas of plant operations, lift gas compressors, well performance, and storage facilities.Minimum 2 years sour oil and gas plant operating experience.Valid class 5 drivers license with tooled truck.SCADA and production entry experience.
