Assistant Site SuperintendentLow-Rise Residential Construction (Single Detached & Townhouses)Location: Cobourg, ONAbout the RoleWe are seeking a motivated Assistant Site Superintendent to support the delivery of low-rise residential projects, including single detached homes and townhouses, in the Cobourg, ON area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a reputable residential builder while gaining hands-on site and homeowner-facing experience.You will work closely with the Site Superintendent to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards, while supporting inspections, deficiencies, and homeowner care.ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but are not limited to:Assisting the Site Superintendent with day-to-day site operationsScheduling and coordinating trades, deliveries, and inspectionsPerforming quality control (QC) checks throughout constructionManaging and overseeing handyman crews for:Pre-PDI preparationDeficiency repairsTarion-related workCoordinating occupancy inspections and ensuring readiness for approvalsManaging key turnover and possession-related tasksConducting Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) with homeownersSupporting Tarion customer service, including deficiency tracking and follow-upsMaintaining site cleanliness, safety, and organizationAssisting with documentation, checklists, and reportingActing as a liaison between trades, site supervision, and homeownersOther duties as required to support successful project deliveryQualificationsExperience in low-rise residential construction (single detached and/or townhouses preferred)Previous experience as an Assistant Site Superintendent, Site Coordinator, or similar roleStrong understanding of construction sequencing and finishing standardsFamiliarity with Tarion guidelines, PDI, and occupancy processes (asset)Strong communication and customer-service skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentOrganized, detail-oriented, and proactiveValid drivers licence and reliable transportationProficient with basic construction documentation and digital toolsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary package, commensurate with experienceOpportunity for career growth within a stable residential builderHands-on experience across the full home lifecycle (construction occupancy warranty)Supportive team environment and leadership mentorshipHow to ApplyQualified candidates are encouraged to apply with a resume highlighting relevant residential construction experience.
