Responsibilities include:Managing approximately 15-25 closings per monthCompleting due diligence and registry searches (Corporate Registry, PPR, Land Titles, tax searches, etc.)Preparing, reviewing, and processingmortgage instructionsCommunicating with clients and providing regular file updatesCollaborating closely with lawyers, staff, and clients to ensure efficient file progressionFollowing instructions while working independently within a professional team environmentWhat Were Looking ForParalegal diploma or Legal Assistant certificate/diploma from a recognized institutionMinimum 3 years of residential conveyancing experienceCommercial transaction experience is considered an assetStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesA proactive, positive, and professional approach when working with clients and colleaguesAt Aplin together with our brands CompuStaff and Impact Recruitment we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
