Civil Construction Project Managers apply below!My client is a recognized as a leader and innovator in the Canadian construction industry.Objective of the PositionThe Project Manager is subject to following-up various sites at the same time and assist as required Construction Superintendent & Operation Manager on projects across Canada. This includes working with the Senior Project Manager, assisting the Operations Manager and supporting all levels of project staff in tender and/or the construction phase of projects. The individual is to be well-versed in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation and have a good working knowledge of applicable provincial and territorial requirements across Canada. In addition, this role requires a high degree of mobility, including frequent travel and extended stays at remote mining sites across Canada. The Project Manager must be prepared to work in varying geographic locations and adapt to site-specific conditions to ensure effective oversight and support of project execution.FunctionThis position is to assist the Senior Project Manager and/or Operations Manager to provide technical support in phases of tender and construction, as well as to oversee job site activities.Knowledge Understanding of geotechnical principals General Knowledge of Ground Improvement techniques Knowledge of management principles involved in planning, resource distribution, and leadership techniques, production system and people coordination Understanding of mathematics and their applications Familiarity of relevant equipment, policies, procedures to ensure public safety Knowledge of surveying techniques Competency in MS office, AutoCAD, MS Project and other software requireSkills Demonstrated leadership and a continuous improvement mindset. Excellent critical thinking skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications. Aptitude for meeting tight deadlines while maintaining safety, quality, and profitability. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant software. All professional designations in the Associations related to our geographical reach Maintain up to date passport Valid Drivers License Preference will be given to those with experience in mining, ground improvement, pile driving, earthworks, heavy civil, infrastructure, general contracting or oil & gas Must be willing to work on isolated mine sites for several months of the year The Project Manager must ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations in the province or territory where the work is performed
