Project Manager, People Analytics and HR SystemsWork Type: Fixed Term ContractLeverageTek is actively seeking a BI / Data Analytics Reporting Lead (People Analytics and HR Systems) for a 36-month Term with its Ottawa-based customer.Work LocationRemoteSecurity RequirementMust be eligible for a Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability Secret Clearance.Key TasksLead the delivery and management of HR Systems projects, including status reporting, resource planning, task management, risk management, budgeting and schedulingDevelop detailed project descriptions in support of the HR and corporate planning processIdentify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasksProvide guidance, training and coaching to other HR team membersLead the change management process on HR Systems projectsCollaborate with key stakeholders to define HR Systems project requirementsResearch, recommend, develop, document and implement solutions to enhance existing processes and improve the success rate of HR Systems projectsDevelop and maintain a lesson learned approach for use on future projectsAssess, mitigate and monitor risks associated with HR Systems projectsDevelop and implement compensation, payroll, pension and benefits processes and programs, and practicesDevelop, implement and maintain human resources reporting and data analytics for the Human Resources team and team.Research, illustrate and present annual compensation recommendations including Pay Equity Plan and compensation analyticsProvide direction and advice to other team members and senior management about complex compensation, payroll and HRIS processes, testing, data analytics and reportingAssist with human resources special projects, as requiredEnsure compliance of all HRIS and data analytics practices with relevant laws and regulations, focusing on data privacy and security,Develop and maintain effective relationships within the team, and with industry, Client-Partners and/or stakeholdersEnsure quality standards are met, in line with corporate expectationsDevelop and maintain the effectiveness of HR business systems, processes and policiesOther duties as assignedKey QualificationsHR & Compensation ExpertiseStrong foundation in Human Resources and Compensation, with experience in compensation analytics (beyond general HR or payroll).Technical experience with HR Information Management (HRIS) is preferred, along with up-to-date corporate knowledge or credentials.Power BI & Data SkillsStrong Power BI skills and able to work independently while managing data analytics tasks solo.Executive Communication & Compliance ExperienceExperience delivering presentations and reports to executive management.Comfortable working in government, crown corporations, or hospital environments.QualificationsGeneral and Specific KnowledgeBest practices, methods, trends and legislation in Human Resources with a focus on compensation, HCM, data analytics and payrollEnterprise resource planning and HCM systemsWorkplace collaboration systemsProject and risk management principlesFormal Education And/or Certification(s) And ExperienceMinimum: university degree in computer science, Human Resources Management or related field with six years relevant experience, or the equivalentPreferred: Certified Human Resources Leader or Certified Payroll Manager designation, or the equivalent, additional training in project management (e.g. Project Management Professional certification)AbilitiesDisplay strong communication skillsUse computer programs to perform advanced tasksDemonstrate exceptional HCM technical skills and data analyticsApply project and risk management techniquesDemonstrate attention to detailResearch and write presentationDEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIPProvide functional direction and advice to employees and senior managementCompensation$106,763 - $138,792 This is an existing position vacancy.About LeverageTek Staffing SolutionsThank you for taking the time to apply!
