Dans vos fonctions, vous serez appel : Faisant partie de l''quipe d''essais de vol et d''intgration, et relevant du responsable essai et analyse (ABIVV), le gestionnaire de simulateur coordonne toutes les activits lies la preparation et a l''execution de tests sur l ISTCR (banc de Test et de Certification des Systmes intgrs ou ''Ironbird'') Vido de presentation ici : .youtube.com/watch?v=Z-2yqKDU2AU . Il est le point focal entre l''quipe de test du centre d essai, le bureau d''tudes, et le programme, responsable de mener des executions de test scuritaires et optimises/efficaces, avec le support des spcialistes du simulateur. Ce role implique les tches principales suivantes : Coordonner et harmoniser la mise niveau de la plate-forme pour assurer la prparation aux tests avec les spcialistes simulateurs et les quipes techniques de maintenance Mener un examen de prparation aux tests (TRR) avec les parties prenantes internes et externes pour assurer l''efficacit des sessions de test sur la plate-forme Maintenir la configuration de la plate-forme et sa conformit vis a vis des autorits tatiques dans le cadre des essais de certification (Transport Canada) Assurer une collaboration troite entre le bureau d''tudes, l''quipe de test et l''quipe des oprations en vol (pilotes d essais, ingnieurs d''essai) Soutenir les testeurs dans la prparation et l''excution des sessions de test en fournissant les particularits et limitation du rig de faon documente Participer au dpannage et la rsolution des problmes techniques (mcaniques, lectriques, hydrauliques, simulation...) Contribuer amliorer les procdures oprationnelles pour les essais au sol et la dfinition des processus et des outils pour le centre d''essais en vol et d''intgration Construire et partager l''expertise avec le bureau d''tudes pour amliorer l''excution des tests dans le temps, minimisant ainsi les risques d''checs Consolider un plan d''activit moyen et long terme sur l ISTCR en prenant en compte toutes les contraintes prcdentes En tant que candidat idal : Vous possdez un diplme universitaire technique en ingnierie ou une exprience quivalente Vous faites preuve de solides comptences en leadership, vous avez de bonnes comptences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles, vous aimez travailler au sein d''une quipe intgre et multidisciplinaire. Vous avez au moins 10 ans d''exprience dans l industrie arospatiale, avec une bonne connaissance de l''architecture d''un avion du type A220 Vous avez une experience des operations en vol, idalement des essais de dveloppement et de certification. Vous avez une bonne connaissance de la simulation, de l''instrumentation d essai, des systmes d''acquisition de donnes. In this role, you will be responsible for: As part of the Flight Test and Integration team, reporting to the Test and Analysis Manager (ABIVV), the Simulator Manager coordinates all activities related to the preparation and execution of tests on the I ntegrated Systems Test and Certification Rig (ISTCR), or ''Ironbird.'' See a presentation video here: Simulator Manager serves as the main point of contact between the test center team, the engineering office, and the program. They are responsible for conducting safe and optimized/efficient test executions, with the support of simulator specialists. The main tasks involved in this role are: Coordinating and standardizing platform upgrades to ensure test readiness with simulator specialists and technical maintenance teams. Leading a Test Readiness Review (TRR) with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficiency of test sessions on the platform. Maintaining the platform''s configuration and its compliance with state authorities for certification tests (Transport Canada). Ensuring close collaboration among the engineering office, the test team, and the flight operations team (test pilots, test engineers). Supporting testers in the preparation and execution of test sessions by providing documented details and limitations of the rig. Participating in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, simulation, etc.). Contributing to improving operational procedures for ground tests and defining processes and tools for the flight test and integration center. Building and sharing expertise with the engineering office to improve test execution over time, thereby minimizing the risk of failures. Consolidating a medium and long-term activity plan for the ISTCR, taking all previous constraints into account. The Ideal Candidate: Holds a technical university degree in engineering or has equivalent experience. Demonstrates strong leadership skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, and enjoys working within an integrated and multidisciplinary team. Has at least 10 years of experience in the aerospace industry, with good knowledge of an aircraft''s architecture, such as the A220. Has experience with flight operations, ideally with development and certification tests. Has a good knowledge of simulation, test instrumentation, and data acquisition systems. Is proactive, resourceful, and capable of finding creative ways to achieve the desired results, while adapting to rapidly changing situations and emerging obstacles.
