Lifemark Health Group, Provincial Mental Health Programs & Services Position Title Psychologist Location Julie Skaling Physiotherapy Kentville (70 Exhibition Street, Kentville NS B4N 4K9) Job Type & Schedule Permanent, fulltime (parttime also available)Schedule: 8:004:30 MondayFriday (hybrid; onsite and workfromhome days determined) Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver highquality mental health care for patients with a wide range of conditions, including returntowork, trauma, and substance misuse. Responsibilities Provide formal assessment and diagnostic services (e.g., MMPI3, PAI) to support treatment planning and workforce suitability. Deliver individual treatment for anxiety, trauma, depression, somatic complaints, substance misuse, adjustment and interpersonal issues. Consult with physiotherapy, occupational therapy and other mental health team members. Leverage digital therapeutics and innovative approaches to mental health services. Contribute to inhouse training sessions and interdisciplinary case discussions. Education and Licensure Masters Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university. Current registration with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners (adult clinical competency). Trauma training required. Professional liability insurance required at time of employment. Certifications in CPT, CBT, EMDR and other evidencebased treatments highly desired. Experience At least 2years of clinical experience working with adults on returntowork (preferred). Experience conducting psychological assessments for treatment planning. Additional Abilities Proficiency in English; proficiency in French a strong asset.
