Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week Application Deadline: Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 12 noon About the Position: This position requires the Project Manager (PM) to work independently as a member of the ALS Winnipeg Client Services team at an intermediate to senior level. This position handles medium to large clients/''accounts. Will oversee project set up and monitor progress at each stage for accuracy and to ensure successful completion and client satisfaction. Will acting as liaison between ALS and clients to provide the highest level of customer service and to strengthened client''s relationships. Specific Responsibilities Coordinate large sized client accounts and profiles as designated by the Client Services Manager. Liaise with senior client personnel to maintain good regional service, to elicit feedback and to support Sales and Marketing. Meet with client project managers or other personnel as necessary to maintain positive customer relationships. Some travel may be required. Address coverage requirements/responsibilities within the team or with the Client Service Manager as required. Support Sales and Marketing with preparation of RFPs and large quotes for clients within the Account Manager''s portfolio as necessary. Be able to offer support on technical and client related matter to more junior CS staff. Provide service advice to clients (i.e., analytical requirements, turnaround and holding times, etc.) to assist them in meeting project or regulatory objectives. Ensure that client communications are returned promptly, as specified in customer service manual guidelines, or as determined by local management. Maintain communication between all client service personnel, both internally and externally, for projects affecting multiple clients. Keep regional client service and location managers apprised of developments with regional clients. Review client chain of custody forms in timely fashion, ensuring that all necessary information is available to enable smooth generation of invoices. Review, approve, and transmit data reports and invoices, including any custom client specific uploads and/or transmissions (EDDs, invoices, Watertrax, etc.). Write SOP''s for the Client Services Department. Ensure any client special reporting requirements are carried out. Maintain communication with other client service personnel responsible for invoice uploading. Maintain and update client information (contacts, addresses, etc.). Initiate and issue Client Complaints (CC), Corrective Action Reports (CAR) and Rechecks. Track client projects in the ALS LIMS and provide status to clients when requested. Ensure timely completion and transmission of final and draft client reports. Prepare cost quotations or proposals. Prepare cost quotations or proposals with guidance from the Sales Manager, Business Manager and/or Client Services Manager. Provide direction, information and specifics on client samples and projects to appropriate laboratory, sample management, sales, and office services staff. Maintain communication with laboratory staff on general lab turnaround times and relay appropriate information to clients. Promote communication with staff on any special client requests. Update Contact Manager, Sales and Marketing staff, and Senior Management with pertinent client related news, projects and/or concerns. Provide information to clients and other staff about environmental regulations as required. Provide information to clients on branch services, capabilities, qualifications, turnaround times, etc., as required. Use correct methods in accordance with the established procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical quality. Observe established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge of ALS literature including price lists, statement of qualifications, one-pagers and marketing tools. Organized, detail oriented and able to work independently. Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal). Proficient computer skills Microsoft Word and Excel. Required Qualifications B.Sc. or Technical Diploma in related field. 10+ years of experience working in a fast paced Environmental or customer service-related field. Must be familiar with all applicable environmental legislation and regulations. Valid unrestricted license for personal vehicle use applicable in the province/territory. No major driving violations and no more than two minor violations/incidents. Physical Demands Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and carry for short distances. Manual dexterity to perform intricate and/or repetitive tasks. Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities.
