Senior HR Coordinator Job Description Reports to: People & Culture Lead Location: Crosspointe Drive, Rocky View County, Alberta T4A 0V2 Employment Status: Permanent, Full-Time Compensation: Competitive, commensurate with experience Position Summary The Senior HR Coordinator plays a key role within CanaDream''s People & Culture team, supporting both strategic and operational HR functions with a strong emphasis on highvolume recruitment, HR administration, and consistent process coordination. This role supports fullcycle seasonal and permanent hiring across all seven CanaDream stations nationally, onboarding processes, HR data integrity, and the overall employee experience. This position requires strong organization, excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fastpaced, seasonal environment. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Selection (Primary Focus) Support Station Managers and the People & Culture Lead in understanding hiring needs across locations. Coordinate fullcycle recruitment for seasonal and permanent roles, including job postings, applicant screening, interview scheduling, and reference checks. Maintain requisitions and monitor applicant flow in Dayforce. Prepare interview materials and participate in interviews as required. Contribute to improving recruitment processes and seasonal hiring efficiencies. Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring seasonal positions. Onboarding & Offboarding Coordinate onboarding tasks including contract preparation, systems setup, and Dayforce workflows. Support new hire orientation scheduling, documentation, and P&Cled presentations. Track mandatory training completion and maintain onboarding checklists. Assist with offboarding processes and ensure proper documentation closure. HR Coordination, Administration & Compliance Maintain personnel files and electronic employee records in accordance with privacy and legislative requirements. Ensure HR data accuracy through regular updates, cleanup, and quality checks within Dayforce. Upload and organize safetyrelated and employmentrelated documents in the HSE portal. Assist with the submission and logging of incident/injury reports and ensure documentation is complete. Track and record basic safety metrics (e.g., LTI, RWI) for reporting purposes. Provide administrative support to People & Culture processes including templates, job descriptions, and HR documentation. Provide firstlevel HR support to managers and employees. Data Reporting & HRIS Support Assist in compiling recruitment and onboarding metrics. Support preparation of weekly or monthly recruitment dashboards. Maintain tracking for seasonal staffing progress. Contribute to P&C data projects as assigned. Stakeholder Relationship Management Build positive working relationships with leaders across all CanaDream locations. Act as a first point of contact for routine hiring and onboarding questions. Communicate updates clearly and ensure timely information flow throughout hiring cycles. Participate in People & Culture team meetings as required. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3+ years of HR coordination or similar experience in a fastpaced environment. Experience supporting highvolume or multisite recruitment. Experience with Dayforce or similar HRIS systems is an asset. Strong administrative and data accuracy skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
