Watch this video if you want to learn more Come Work with Compass ELC: About the role At CompassELC, you will work as an Administrative Culture Lead alongside some of the most passionate, caring, and dedicated educators in the industry. We are looking for an individual with 3-5 years of experience working in a licensed Child Care Centre. You will spend your time engaging, connecting, and learning alongside children, families, community partners, and co-workers. You will support the administrative and licensing requirements within the program in support of the Operations, HumanRelations, and Finance teams. You will model and grow a perspective of equity and strive for a deeper understanding of cultural awareness. This position will be a 35-hour per week, Monday to Friday. You must have availability from 6 am to 6 pm every Monday to Friday. Hours will be determined to meet the needs of the program. Key Responsibilities Include Facilitate and participate in staff meetings. Support a culture of collaboration, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Planning and implementing play-based experiences based on children''s interests. Administering payroll, billing, subsidy reconciliations, maintaining staff files, and coordinating staffing needs. Administering the program budget in partnership with the finance team. Following and supporting the Ministry Licensing and Reporting Guidelines Build and maintain relationships with children, families, staff, volunteers, students, community partners, and school staff. Ensure the safety and cleanliness of equipment, furniture, and materials. Welcome new team members, families, and children into the program. A clear understanding of CCEYA (Child Care Early Years Act), related legislation, and Compass ELC policies and procedures. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Early Learning Sector. 1-2 years of administration experience in a licensed child care centre. Possess required training and documents as per Ministry of Education, Compass Early Learning and Care, and Child Care Early Years Act requirements.
