Paladin Security is Hiring a Patrol Security Guard Location: Downtown Calgary, AB The Bow Tower Schedule: Full-Time, Overnight / Night Shift Pay Rate: $20/hour Employment Type: Full-Time Overview Paladin Security is seeking professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Patrol Security Guards to provide overnight security services at The Bow Tower in downtown Calgary. This role focuses on maintaining a visible security presence, conducting foot patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring the safety of tenants, visitors, and property within a high-rise office environment. Responsibilities Conduct regular indoor and outdoor foot patrols throughout The Bow Tower Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity Monitor for suspicious behavior, safety hazards, and security breaches Enforce site rules, client requirements, and Paladin Security policies Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, incidents, and emergencies Control access and ensure only authorized individuals enter restricted areas De-escalate conflicts calmly and safely when required Communicate effectively with supervisors, tenants, and emergency services Complete accurate, detailed patrol and incident reports Provide professional customer service to tenants, staff, and visitors Ensure compliance with Alberta security regulations and Paladin Security standards Working Conditions Overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as required Indoor and outdoor patrols in a high-rise office setting Prolonged periods of standing and walking Requirements Valid Alberta Security License 35 years of security guard experience Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to remain alert, calm, and professional during overnight shifts Physically capable of prolonged standing, walking, and patrolling Clean criminal record check Ability to work independently and as part of a team Nice to Have Experience in commercial or high-rise office buildings Patrol or overnight security experience Benefits Health and dental benefits On-the-job training Growth and advancement opportunities Performance and pay reviews
