Job Description

Our Project Controls & Analytics group is currently looking to add 2 Project Schedulers to our growing team, based in Edmonton, AB. Reporting to the Scheduling Manager, we are seeking 1 Junior and 1 Experienced Scheduler who has knowledge and experience in supporting the development, maintenance, and analysis of project schedules for engineering and construction projects. These roles collaborate with project teams to ensure schedules are aligned with project objectives and deadlines and contributes to identifying schedule risks and developing mitigation strategies while assisting with schedule development, updates, reporting, and forecasting. Please Note: The positions are primarily office-based; however, occasional site assignments and site shift work may be required based on project demands. Duties and Responsibilities Develop and maintain resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project and TILOS (Time Location Scheduling Software) Integrate contractor, engineering, procurement, and construction schedules into a master EPC schedule Perform critical path and near-critical path analysis and communicate schedule risks Facilitate schedule review meetings and prepare monthly progress reports and lookahead schedules Maintain schedule baselines and track changes, delay events, and progress updates Interface with project managers, estimators, and field teams to ensure accurate forecasting and sequencing Support project controls processes such as earned value management and change management Conduct forensic schedule analysis for claims and time impact analysis, when required Mentor junior schedulers and support continuous improvement of scheduling processes and tools Engage with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and site personnel Communicate schedule status, risks, and mitigation strategies clearly and confidently to both office and site-based stakeholders Act as the subject matter expert on project schedules, providing guidance and recommendations to Project Managers, Construction Managers, and field teams Requirements Post-Secondary Education in a related field 1 - 5 Years'' experience with Project Scheduling Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (including layouts, filters, global changes, coding) and TILOS (including layouts, filters, global changes, coding) In-depth knowledge of CPM scheduling, resource leveling, and schedule validation best practices Strong Microsoft Excel skills Proven understanding of engineering and construction workflows, milestones, and interfaces Familiarity with earned value management and cost control systems Preferred Skills / Qualifications Utility Construction experience PMP, PSP or equivalent Certification Experience with PowerBI or other data visualization tools Exposure to Cost Control principles Job Posting End Date: February 10th, 2026 Benefits We offer a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package that incorporates a complete range of employee benefits, including an RRSP matching program, to ensure you have the tools necessary to manage, maintain, and improve your health and wellbeing.
