About the Associate, Government & Strategic Partnerships Role Reporting Directly to Director, Business Development and working daily with the National Manager, Government & Strategic Partnerships, the Associate, Government & Strategic Partnerships supports the Government & Strategic Partnerships team by having a thorough understanding of municipal and provincial law and regulations, data management, and customer (government and or corporate partners) follow up and support. Highlights of this role include: Play an active role in the support of the government and corporate strategy to increase textile collections and grow revenues Work with Government & Strategic Partnerships team to maintain and build relationships with municipal and corporate partners to increase textile collections and grow revenues Research municipal and corporate sustainability trends that impact textile collection and revenue growth Understand local laws and regulations to support government strategy Preparation of bylaws and licensing documents as required Data entry into the municipal and corporate relationships database Preparation and Distribution of Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly Reporting for Corporate and Government Agency Partners Help coordinate and participate with the rest of the Government & Strategic Partnerships team in representing NDT at seminars, conferences, and workshops Support the Government & Strategic Partnerships team to help resolve conflicts for NDT specific to textile diversion Provide administration support for the Government & Strategic Partnerships team Attend internal and external meetings as required Support BD Sales team when needed Additional duties as required ensuring the effective operation of the NDT Business Development function About You: Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent relevant experience 3-5 years in Sales, Marketing, or related discipline Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) Fully computer literate in Microsoft Office, most especially, word, excel and PowerPoint Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, energetic team player Ability to work collaboratively with a cross-functional team Organized, self-disciplined, and professional in demeanor - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Statement At National Diabetes Trust, we are guided by our values of Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, and Respect.
