The Family Wellness Manager, in conjunction with the Senior Management Team, is responsible for ensuring the implementation of integrated service delivery from the initial point of contact to discharge for all children, youth, and families receiving services from Dilico. Qualifications & Requirements A minimum three (3) year BSW or other three (3) year Social Services Degree is required. A four (4) year HBSW is preferred. Candidates without the specific education qualifications, but who possess an appropriate combination of child welfare experience and other academic qualifications will also be considered. Three (3) years or more managerial experience in Child Welfare Protection Services Direct experience with Indigenous children, youth, families, and communities Excellent supervisory, planning, organization, problem-solving, decision-making, and inter-personal and leadership skills Sound knowledge and understanding of the Differential Response Model, CYFSA, Young Offenders Act, the Mental Health Act, Alternative Care Regulations, Kinship and Customary Care Practices, Dilico''s Mikinaak Service Model, and other related legislation in Children''s Services Sound knowledge of human behaviour theories, child development, family dynamics and the ability to apply in assessment and planning Counselling skills and skills in teaching adults Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary Child Welfare Team Ability to liaise with other social service agencies Required to work shift work, flexible hours, travel regularly and to act on an ''on-call'' basis as determined by the respective Assistant Director of Child Welfare in relation to service requirements Must possess a valid Class ''G'' Driver''s License and have access to a personal vehicle which will pass a safety inspection $1,000,000 liability vehicle insurance Valid Standard First Aid/CPR certificate Must complete a criminal records check, including Vulnerable Sector screening, satisfactory to Dilico Hours of Work:35 hours per week If you experience issues with our online application system please apply directly at the competition number must be quoted in the email subject line.
