The goal of Bison''s Student Placements is to provide students with valuable work and life experience. Students are hired to work full time for the duration of an 8-month coop placement term (May 2026 until December We arecurrently recruiting an energetic, results-focused post-secondary student to join our teamThis position offers an opportunity to gain experience and to learn about our Operations team, our Company and the transportation Industry. Responsibilities: Communication with customers and drivers via telephone,email, chat, and satellite. Assisting with customs-related issues for South- and North-bound shipments. Providing our drivers with information such as customer specifics, routing, road conditions, and other information. Problem solving by working closely with our drivers and internal departments to service our customers. Working closely with our Customer Service, Customs, Planning, and other internal teams. Helping with breakdown situations and working closely with our local shop. Our ideal candidate will possess: Must be enrolled in an 8month coop program and able to join us from May to December 2026. Post-secondary student in a Supply Chain, Management or Business Administration degree, your record should reflect balanced achievement in academics and practical experience Exceptional customer service skills; embraces the concept of both the internal and external customer Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills The ability to work independently and work effectively as a team player Demonstrated competencies in the following areas: Results orientation, ownership mindset, solutions outlook and integrity Ability to quickly establish working relationships and effectively transition through assignments Ability to thrive in a multi-task, deadline orientated, high volume and fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail Proficiency with MS Office and the ability to learn complex programs Desire to pursue continuous learning activities is also considered a strong asset Previous Supply Chain work experience considered an asset Your Bison Experience: Significant responsibilities and an environment where your ideas and opinions create action Extensive learning programs and leadership training Mentoring and coaching from Bison''s leaders Substantial professional growth and an exciting career with a growing and stable company You will have the opportunity to gain experience in one of the following departments: City Dispatch Highway Dispatch Highway Planning This position requires fulltime in office availability from May 2026 until December 2026 (Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 , with the potential for flexible parttime hours during the school year.
