What you will do: Administrative Job Responsibilities: Perform general administrative support functions such as answering and transferring phone calls Greet and direct all clients and guests in a courteous and professional manner Assigning walk-ins or incoming calls to advisors for quoting Sort, distribute and log incoming and outgoing mail and courier Banking transactions process incoming payments Maintain adequate stock of relevant forms and offices supplies Other duties as assigned. Portfolio Management: Working within defined limits of authority, consistently provide high quality decisions that support the achievement of Heartland''s financial targets in accordance with the Operational Plan; Participate in training and development initiatives to constantly enhance the quality of decision making and risk selection; Support a renewal portfolio of clients and coordinating the discussion of renewal strategies with Advisors and Underwriters. Review renewals, endorsements, cancellations, payment notices ensuring accurate processing of policy documentation Review and maintain farm and commercial specific documents such as statement of values, loss prevention inspection reports Accurately maintain and update client database as required Handling routine inquiries (Respond to inquiries from clients and Underwriting) Customer Experience Providing exceptional and prompt service to clients, Advisors and Underwriters. Demonstrate Heartland''s value proposition of exemplary customer experience through the ongoing development of relationships with key stakeholders: Develop strong customer relationships through personal accountability and high-quality decision making; What you will bring... Completion of OSSD. Post-secondary education preferred. Excellent organization and communication skills. Prior experience working in the insurance industry and/or a sales office. Must have an OTL agent license or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire (assistance provided). Familiarity with PowerBroker or other Broker Management Systems is an asset. The salary range for this role is $50,000- $66,600. The salary for the successful candidate will be determined by various factors including but not limited to an individual''s relevant experience, knowledge, skills, along with internal equity, and market considerations.
