Job Description In your new role as Assistant General Manager of a busy Housekeeping team in a large regional hospital, you will assist the General Manager with all day to day activities. You will be required to lead a strong safety culture, lead and direct a large team as well as possess knowledge of Acute Care facilities housekeeping activities. How You''ll Make an Impact: Responsible for overseeing a team of employees and successfully coordinating and directing Environmental Service activities including Building Maintenance Establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship with the client Ensure high levels of client and customer satisfaction and account retention Manage strong employee relations Create a safe work environment through provincial regulations and Sodexo policies and procedures Ensure the achievement of financial goals particularly around labour costs Strategically develop efficiencies in the operation Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Environmental Services experience in a Healthcare/Long Term Care environment Ability to manage 100 employees with proven success in managing service operations in a Healthcare setting Management experience in a unionized environment Effective oral and written communication skills Ability to manage and promote a safe work environment and lead a safety culture You will be required to complete a criminal record check for work with vunerable sector You may be required to work some evenings or weekends Additional Information What Makes Sodexo Different: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it''s a chance to be part of something greater because we believe our everyday actions have a big impact.
