Festive & Warm: ''Great Work Deserves Great Times Dinners, Picnics & Team Fun Await'' Qualifications for a PSW: Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW). Program must meet the standards set by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities or the Ontario PSW Training Standard. Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed) Key Responsibilities: Follow the care plan. Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing) Assist with mobility and transferring (e.g., from bed to wheelchair) Help with feeding and meal preparation Perform light housekeeping duties Monitor and report changes in a client''s physical or emotional condition Document care provided using appropriate tools or software Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients Adhere to infection prevention and control procedures Work collaboratively with nurses, families, and other healthcare professionals. Usage of app to clock in and clock out along with updating of care plan for each shift performed. Requirements: A valid driver''s license and vehicle. Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR Level C and First Aid certification. Current immunization record (TB test completed within the past 12 months) is required upon hire. Current vulnerable sector check screening is required upon hire. Availability to work, days including weekends. Candidates should be comfortable with physical duties such as lifting up to 55 pounds, climbing stairs, standing, and frequent reaching, bending, and movement requiring hand and upper body coordination.
