Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter/Laborer to join our construction and restoration team. This role involves performing a variety of painting and labor tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting, restoration, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Strong communication skills, time management, and the ability to read schematics or blueprints are essential for success in this position. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming as needed Apply paint, stain, or coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment on various surfaces including walls, ceilings, and fixtures Read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings to determine project requirements Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks such as rigging or carpentry work Assist with demolition or removal of old materials in restoration projects Set up scaffolding or ladders to access high areas safely Perform general labor tasks including moving materials and cleaning work sites Ensure all work complies with safety standards and project specifications Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting, restoration, or related fields such as commercial or industrial painting Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, rigging, caulking, carpentry, and scaffolding setup Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently Customer service orientation is a plus for projects involving client interaction Ability to work independently or as part of a team in physically demanding environments Prior experience with residential painting is desirable but not required This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a professional environment while contributing to diverse projects.
