As a Sales Consultant, Emerging Accounts reporting to the Sales Manager, Emerging & Key Accounts, you will be the primary point of contact for small-to-medium-sized businesses within a designated geography. By helping these organizations optimize their workflows with Canon''s hardware and IT services, you will directly contribute to their operational efficiency and play a vital role in expanding Canon''s market presence. Key Responsibilities: Drive New Business: Prospect weekly for new customers using phone blitzes and on-site visits to identify opportunities. Meet Sales Targets: Achieve annual individual sales quotas for software and hardware within the commercial sector. Consultative Solutions: Conduct ''officeFLOW'' assessments to analyze print costs and workflows, identifying areas for value-added Canon solutions. Pipeline Management: Manage the full sales cycle for all opportunities, including leads generated through demand-generation activities. Product Expertise: Deliver product demonstrations and proposals highlighting Canon''s advantages. Accurate Reporting: Document all activities, including competitor information and billing needs, in Salesforce. To Succeed, You Will Have: Minimum of 1 year of sales experience. Ability to understand client needs and determine appropriate technical solutions. Strong time management skills to ensure customer timelines and expectations are consistently met. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce is a plus. Why Join? HYBRID WORK The role is an outside face-to-face sales role. You will be in the office on Mondays and Wednesdays each week, unless required to be at a customer''s location. Sales is expected to maximize their time at customer locations and the remaining time, you will be able to work from a home workspace.
