Local 1 Canada, Office & Clerical Information Systems Support Technician Primary Area of Assignment: Information Systems Basic Functions and Scope: As a member of a multidisciplinary team, the incumbent is responsible for providing hardware/ software support in multi-operating systems, networked environment. Hours of Work: All shifts. Status: Temp Full-Time (Existing Vacancy) Pay Rate: $31.91-$33.14 Qualifications: Education: College graduate of IS discipline or equivalent work experience that includes formal training within the IS discipline. Experience: Minimum one (1) year related experience, preferably in a health care setting; Current working knowledge of Windows NT in network environment; Knowledge of microcomputers. Required Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, courteously and tactfully; Ability to organize work assignments, deal with frequent interruptions, meet deadline and work independently; Ability to work with minimum supervision; Ability to organize, deal with frequent interruptions, meet deadlines and work independently; Ability to work in a team environment.
