We''re hiring a Yard Person to support our truss plant operations. The primary focus of this role is building floor packages accurately and efficiently. You''ll also help with loading/unloading trucks, staging trusses, and keeping the yard organized and running smoothly. If you''re dependable, safety-minded, and like hands-on work where the days go fast, this is a good fit. Key Responsibilities Build floor packages (organize and band materials, verify counts, prep for shipping) Assist with loading and unloading trucks (materials and finished product) Stage trusses and packages for delivery/pickup Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe (housekeeping, basic maintenance tasks) Help with other general yard duties as required What We''re Looking For Strong work ethic and reliable attendance Physically capable (lifting, carrying, repetitive work, outdoor yard conditions) Comfortable working around equipment and moving loads Good communication and ability to follow instructions Forklift experience is an asset (or willing to learn) Nice to Have (Not Required) Forklift ticket / experience Experience in lumber, truss plants, construction yards, or shipping/receiving Basic understanding of building materials and packaging What You Can Expect Consistent hours and steady work A team that values safety and doing the job right Training provided for the right candidate Opportunity to grow into more responsibility over time To apply: Reply with your resume and a short note about your work experience and availability.
