AccuSpace Measuring is an industry leader in Western Canada for providing detailed as-built floor plans and area calculations for a variety of clients and uses in the commercial real estate industry. We are currently looking to hire a new Field Measurement Technician. Required Experience: - Proficient in AutoCAD program - Experience with SoftPlan - Proficient in all AutoCAD functions including drawing tools, polylines, printing, layering and are able to draw complex and irregular shapes - Experience with Microsoft Office, high proficiency in Excel - Work with a high degree of accountability and have a demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively and independently - Quick learner. You will be required to learn new software, BOMA Measurement Standards and about commercial real estate and building construction - Professional demeanor and ability to act with discretion - Physically capable of a full day on your feet - Detail oriented and accurate - Self starter - Class 5 drivers licence Responsibilities: - Complete building measurements and floor plan drawings - Perform area calculations as per BOMA standards - Liaise with clients and the public including developers, property managers, and building tenants - Produce digital deliverables for clients Apply via email only Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Life insurance Mileage reimbursement Paid time off Vision care Work Location: In person
