Overview We are seeking a professional and dynamic Duty Manager to oversee daily operations at our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a solid background in hotel or front desk management. This role is vital in ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining operational efficiency, and supporting staff to deliver an outstanding experience. Multilingual and bilingual skills are highly valued to serve our diverse clientele effectively. Duties Supervise both front desk and food & beverage operations, including managing multi-line phone systems and guest check-ins/check-outs Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a welcoming environment Oversee daily staff activities, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and promptness Maintain accurate records of reservations, billing, and other administrative tasks Ensure adherence to hotel policies, safety standards, and service quality standards Adhering to Hyatt Brand Standards at all times Support the management team in coordinating special events or VIP services as needed Assist with administrative duties such as reporting and inventory management Requirements Proven experience in hospitality, hotel front desk, or customer service roles; hotel experience is preferred Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, capable of managing multi-line phone systems effectively Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle diverse guest needs diplomatically Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest interactions Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if necessary Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate staff Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a front-of-house role Previous experience in hospitality management or supervisory roles is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00-$24.25 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40 per week Benefits: Company events Dental care Discounted or free food Employee assistance program Flexible schedule Life insurance On-site parking Work Location: In person
