We are looking for a Library Booth Assistantsomeone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who loves socializing. The YRES Library Booth Assistant Is Responsible For: Greeting visitors Conversation support Taking photos Helping count inventory of items that were brought Providing feedback on the event Arriving to the event independently Location: Milliken Mills Library: 7600 Kennedy Rd #1, Markham, ON L3R 9S5 Date & Time: Saturday, February 7th Shift: TBD Benefits: Volunteer hours count toward OSSD (High School Graduation) Develop and enhance transferrable soft skills like leadership, teamwork, and communication Gain experience and skills that are resum-worthy Free training Free networking opportunities Who We''re Looking For: Minimum age: 12 Able to independently arrive to work on time Passionate about volunteering and excited to learn Can commit to scheduled time of event Fluency in English Highly organized, detail-orientated and capable of managing multiple tasks Bonus Skills: Previous experience in event planning and coordinating Fluency/high proficiency in a language other than English considered an asset Requirements Whether you meet these requirements or not, we encourage you to share your interest in us.
