We are currently looking for full time Outbound Transport Coordinator, who will be working at our branch in Guelph, Ontario, five days a week from Monday to Friday from 8:00am 4:30pm .This role reports directly to the Sr. Warehouse Supervisor. Role Responsibilities Outbound Customer and Internal Transfers shipments: Checking & Packing LTL/FTL orders Rate shopping for all orders to ensure freight cost savings Working with all Transport carriers. Communicating daily pick up times, dropped trailers, etc. Leading staff that are checking orders ensuring shipping accuracy Ensuring the safe packing and securing of all shipments leaving the building Auditing shipment for accuracy through quantity and sku number checks. Communicating with the customer service team on shipping dates, instructions, and reroutes Tracking freight spending and providing quotes for internal and external customers Collecting and producing customs paperwork for cross border shipments. Ensuring the safe and organized staging of shipments on the warehouse floor Managing the safe loading of carriers and dock lock procedures Skills And Qualifications Physically able to lift heavy shipments and products up to 50 lbs Ability to operate industrial lift trucks, pallet jack, and forklifts Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Detail oriented A self-starter who takes initiative and leads by example A team player, leader with a positive disposition Ability to work at a fast pace Ability to operate a computerized inventory control system and scan gun picking Strong problem-solving skills The starting rate for this role is $23.50/hour SureWerx is committed to fostering equal opportunities, and to providing an inclusive and respectful working environment in which all employees can thrive.
