Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with a proven track record in restaurant or food industry settings. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative menus, maintaining high standards of food quality, and ensuring exceptional food service for our guests. Responsibilities Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient daily operations Develop and plan creative menus that align with restaurant concepts and customer preferences hands on food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high-quality standards Ensure adherence to all food safety and sanitation regulations Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance skills and ensure consistent performance Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent food service experience Monitor kitchen cleanliness and organization to uphold health standards Innovate new dishes and seasonal specials to keep the menu fresh and exciting Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a catering operation, experience in large quantity cooking/heating Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing a culinary team Excellent skills in meal preparation, food presentation, and kitchen management Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of current culinary trends and innovative cooking techniques Prior restaurant and catering experience is required Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality service Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year Benefits: Company events Discounted or free food On-site parking Work Location: In person
