Megamind Learning Centre - Guelph is seeking a highly motivated and experienced French tutor to join our team. The successful candidate will provide quality French instructions to students from Grade 1 to Grade 8. Duties Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual needs of students Assist students in understanding and mastering subject material, including homework help and test preparation Develop personalized lesson plans that align with students'' learning objectives Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding academic performance and areas for improvement Create a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere that encourages student participation Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles Requirement Bachelor''s degree in relevant field. Candidates currently in undergraduate university degrees will also be considered Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Available to work weekday evenings from 4-8 pm and / or Saturday mornings Experience Previous experience tutoring or teaching French, preferably aligned with the Ontario curriculum, is highly desirable Familiarity with French Immersion, Core French, and Extended French programs is an asset Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain French grammar, vocabulary, reading, and writing concepts Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred Classroom or small-group teaching experience is a plus, demonstrating effective classroom and behaviour management skills A genuine passion for education and helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals We offer a supportive and dynamic work environment and competitive pay.
