Victoriaville is looking for a Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team and play a key role in ensuring prompt, accurate deliveries to time-sensitive customers. In this dynamic role, you''ll be responsible for safely transporting products while providing exceptional customer service. Attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism, both on the road and when interacting with customers, are essential. This position requires a valid Class D license with an Air Brake Endorsement as well as a clean drivers abstract, to ensure compliance with MTO regulations. Core skills in commercial driving will be complemented by premium abilities in trailer hoist operation and freight handling. Experience with heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair is also an asset and will enhance your effectiveness on the job. We provide training to help you succeed. What You''ll Do: Operate commercial vehicles safely, efficiently ensuring timely delivery of goods o Performing daily vehicle inspections o Ensuring HOS is within compliance Maintain compliance with Transportation Regulations Cooperation with all MTO inspections in a professional manner Providing excellent customer service during deliveries Ability to deliver for up to 13 hours a day o Ability to drive up North (North Bay, Thunder Bay) with overnight accommodations Operate lifting device when unloading/loading product What We''re Looking For: Valid DZ license with clean abstract Minimum 25 years of age (insurance requirement) Straight truck driving experience Working knowledge of ELD (electronic logbook Devices) Ability to work some weekends and holidays as needed Customer service experience Details: Pay - $21.35 per hour o Overtime after 40 hours Benefits (after 3 months of employment) o Disability o Extended Health Care o Life Insurance Schedule Day Shift, Monday to Friday o Overnight accommodation for North Deliveries (up to 2 nights) Job Type Part Time, Permanent Work Location On the Road, Ontario Experience: o Customer Service: 1 year (preferred) o Delivery Driver: 2 years (preferred) License/Certification: o DZ (required) Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $21.35 per hour Benefits: Disability insurance Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking Experience: Delivery driver: 2 years (preferred) Customer service: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: Air Brake Endorsement (required) Work Location: On the road
