Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our restaurant. Duties Assist in supervising daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and sales floor activities Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members Oversee payroll processing, cash handling, and bookkeeping to ensure accuracy and compliance Manage POS systems, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to optimize sales performance Lead team management initiatives such as training & development, scheduling, and performance evaluations Coordinate purchasing and inventory replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels Implement marketing strategies to attract customers and increase store visibility Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining professional phone etiquette Monitor sales metrics and prepare reports to support budgeting and sales management decisions Uphold store policies and procedures while fostering a positive work environment Qualifications Proven supervisory or managerial experience in retail or hospitality fields Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising, pricing, and cash handling procedures Experience with recruiting, interviewing, payroll processing, and bookkeeping Demonstrated organizational skills with effective time management capabilities Knowledge of marketing strategies and sales management techniques Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Strong negotiation skills with a focus on customer service excellence Prior experience in retail sales, store management, or related roles is preferred This position is integral to our success in delivering exceptional retail experiences.
