As a Parts Apprentice, you will assist in maintaining and organizing the parts and supplies necessary for our concrete production operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction and concrete industry while developing valuable skills in parts management and logistics. Responsibilities: Assist in managing the inventory of parts and supplies for concrete equipment, including mixers, pumps, trucks, and other machinery. Work closely with senior parts personnel to receive, store, and issue parts as required by the operations team. Learn to identify and order parts, tools, and materials needed for the proper functioning of concrete production equipment. Help with the maintenance of accurate records for all parts and inventory, including tracking usage and reordering supplies. Assist with the preparation and delivery of parts to job sites and production areas. Support the parts department with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining parts storage areas. Learn to use the company''s inventory management system and assist with stock audits and reporting. Help ensure that all parts and materials are properly labeled, stored, and maintained in accordance with safety regulations. Follow health, safety, and environmental guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Valid class 5 driver''s license and clean drivers abstract. Knowledge of heavy-duty aftermarket industry and parts supply. Familiarity with inventory management software. Ability to lift 50lbs on a consistent basis. Prior experience working as a labourer in the construction industry or in a shop setting is an asset. Key Attributes: Willingness to learn new tasks. Hours of Work: The position requires a regular working schedule of Tuesday to Friday 1PM-9:30PM and Saturdays 11AM-7:30PM. Work Environment: Primary work environment is in a shop setting or parts bay. Travel to suppliers within Edmonton and area is required. Physical Demands: This role may include physically strenuous work from time to time.
