You can help create lasting memories by preparing and presenting high quality dishes that are paired with their favourite bottles of Nk''Mip Cellars wine for an exceptional guest experience. DAILY LIFE includes but not limited to; Assisting the Winery Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes. Preparation of menu items for service Take care of daily preparation as assigned by Chef Cleaning, sanitizing and kitchen upkeep Assisting with health, safety, and food hygiene best practices Monitoring portion and waste control Overseeing maintenance of kitchen equipment and food safety standards REQUIREMENTS FoodSafe Certified Must possess a passion for people, wine and the hospitality industry Detail oriented, multitasking ability and strong work ethic required both individually and as part of a team Courteous, friendly, positive attitude Related training (Red Seal/ITA Certificate) and/or second language an asset, but not required Able to lift 40lbs and stand for long periods of time Commitment to a healthy and safe environment for team members and guests WHY JOIN US?
