Product Development Engineer Edmonton Plant I Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Compensation: CAD $100,000130,000 per year. We are hiring a Product Development Engineer at All Weather Group. In this role you will work under the guidance of the Product Engineering Manager and be a key player on the engineering team, driving innovation and supporting new and existing product development from concept through launch. The position bridges technical work with crossfunctional collaboration across Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and IT. Executing product design, research and prototyping. Coordinating multidepartmental development projects. Creating technical drawings and models using SolidWorks/AutoCAD. Supporting tooling, equipment and process development. Working closely with QA/QC teams and conducting root cause analysis. Engaging with certifying bodies and testing partners. Supporting document control (BOMs, models, performance data). Processing and executing Engineering Change Requests. Education & Credentials Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred). EIT or P.Eng designation with APEGA. Experience Minimum 2 years in product or manufacturing engineering. Familiar with automated/manual assembly environments. Experience in windows and doors is a plus. Skills & Strengths Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and costs. Strong CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Natural collaborator and communicator. Technical thinker with a handson mindset. Comfortable with testing, prototyping and regulatory interface. Detailoriented with strong project and time management. Motivated by impact, not just outcomes. Comfortable on the floor, in the lab and in the boardroom. Working setting: office with time on the production floor and engineering lab.
