Job Description

The Department of Oncology, Cancer Care Alberta, Alberta Health Services, Community Oncology invites applications for a full-time clinician within the discipline of Hematology and Hematological Malignancies. The successful applicant will become a member of a multidisciplinary cancer program located at the Grande Prairie Cancer Centre in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and will join a team of Medical and Radiation Oncologists, Nurse Practitioners, and medical support staff working in the North Zone. This position is based at the Grande Prairie Cancer Centre, Grande Prairie, AB and will provide malignant hematology services as part of the malignant hematology group service commitment to the patients of the North Zone. Responsibilities will include participation in ambulatory clinics and participation in local and provincial tumour team-based activities including clinical case reviews at tumour board rounds, annual provincial tumour team meetings, and local quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications: MD and eligibility for Hematologist licensure in the Province of Alberta.
