Overview Role: Windows Server Admin/SME Location: Calgary Experience: 6-8 years Responsibilities Server Admin/SME responsible for managing Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure cloud services, and VMware virtualization in an enterprise environment. The role includes cloud migration, automation using PowerShell, and ensuring high availability, security, and performance of infrastructure systems. Required Skills Windows Server & Active Directory Expertise Enterprisescale experience with Windows Server platforms, AD, IIS, clustering, and virtualization; strong understanding of Windows Server 2008 latest. Azure Cloud (IaaS/PaaS) & Migration Experience Handson experience with Azure Cloud services; experience with Azure Migrate, ASR, ARM templates, and public cloud implementation for enterprise customers. PowerShell Scripting & Infrastructure Automation Demonstrated scripting skills (PowerShell); experience automating infrastructure and working with IaC concepts. Preferred Skills MultiCloud / DC Migration Exposure Experience in DC migration, P2V, V2V migrations; multicloud environment exposure. Azure Certification (70533 or Equivalent) Microsoft Azure 70533 certification (or updated equivalent like AZ104/AZ305).
