YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE Reporting to the Department Manager, you will be part of the Camp & Travel Services Department. You will be responsible for daily camp operations in accordance with approved company policies and procedures. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagles values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment. Lead the day-to-day operations, led by example and build a safe, and strong employee culture. Plan, direct, coordinate the activities of all Camp and Travel Services. Set priorities, plan and direct activities by leveraging technologies, practices to ensure effective and efficient operations and costs. Ensure proper travel and accommodation policy and procedures are followed when arriving and departing the Detour Lake Mine site. Review and analyze accommodation and travel reports to determine efficient utilization of assets. Collaborate and communicate effectively with all appropriate parties, develop and implement methods and procedures to reduce/eliminate operational problems. Develop yearly objectives, strategies and budget needs based on corporate goals. Manage the performance and development of direct reports. Regularly monitor costs, safety, passenger/guest experiences. Interact and collaborate with all applicable departments on provided services. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Diploma or Degree or equivalent client centered service experience, travel and tourism experience is considered an asset. 5-10 years work experience within the mining sector. Accommodation software knowledge. SAP knowledge is considered an asset. Experience working at a remote camp. Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint. YOUR WORK SCHEDULE Schedule: 4/3, 8/6 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine. Accommodation and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada. Compensation Statement In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity.
