The Opportunity As part of Maple Leaf Foods Maintenance team, the Industrial Electrician will maintain and service equipment used for daily production, ensuring safe plant operations and a safe working environment for all employees. The rate is $46.97/hour with an additional $0.50/hour premium for night shift. Interested team members should apply online by January27; applications received after this date may not be considered. Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life Troubleshoot, repair, and install processing equipment; use electrical knowledge to achieve efficient repairs. Program and troubleshoot variablefrequency drives (VFDs). Read and understand electrical power and control system wiring and schematics. Repair or maintain motor controls, temperature sensors, and safety sensors. Work with voltages ranging from 24V to 575V (3phase). Read logic and flow diagrams. Carry out oral or printed work requests and apply corrective action. Perform regular work orders and track inventory and labour on a computerized maintenance program. Adhere to all plant food, health, and safety policies. What Youll Bring RedSeal certification.
