The Opportunity Shape the World Around You As a member of our Water Resources Engineering Group in the Prairies and North Region, youll help shape the future of water infrastructure across Canada and beyond. Based in Calgary, Edmonton, or Saskatoon, this fulltime role is your chance to lead and contribute to highimpact water resources, hydrotechnical, and mining projects that support resilient communities and sustainable development. Your Impact Lead and deliver hydraulic modelling (1D, 2D, and 3D) and openchannel hydraulics solutions for major infrastructure and environmental projects. Drive dam breach modelling and assessments, including Newtonian and nonNewtonian flow regimes, to support riskinformed decisionmaking. Design and assess water management infrastructure flood mitigation systems, water intakes, pump stations, and hydraulic structures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver watershed management, flood mapping, and environmental compliance solutions. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence, safety leadership, and innovation. The Skills That Set You Apart 510 years of experience in hydraulic modelling and hydrotechnical engineering, with a focus on openchannel hydraulics and dam breach assessments. Proficient in hydraulic modelling tools and techniques; experience with water management infrastructure design is a strong asset. Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering; eligible for immediate registration with APEGA, APEGS, or NAPEG as a Professional Engineer. Proven ability to lead projects, manage budgets and timelines, and build strong client relationships.
