What You''ll Do Efficiently picks and assembles orders from various temperature areas with care to achieve on-time delivery to customers. Packs orders with attention to detail including distinguishing between similarly named products, exact quantity, and correct product codes. Ensures that picked products are of high quality (no damaged products, freshest product selection, etc.). Documents and labels orders correctly through interpretation of pick slips, packaging details, shipping labels, and related documentation. Optimizes tote fill by packing orders in a space-efficient manner while maintaining product quality standards. Balances fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and service, including supporting issues to resolution. Maintains safety and food hygiene standards, keeps a clean work area, promptly cleans spills, ensures totes are clean, and completes safety pre-inspection checks before use; operates material handling equipment safely and aligns with the organizations mission and core values. Participates in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to procedures, productivity standards, efficiencies, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions, and quality standards. Demonstrates flexibility in completing/adjusting to work assignments based on customer requests and daily delivery schedules. Compensation: The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $15.80. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
