Overview Our client, a leading home comfort solutions company, is looking for Senior Gas Fitters in 3 locations: Ottawa, ON; Saskatoon, SK; and Sault Ste. Marie, ON to join their team for full-time positions. Responsibilities Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about the company and customers. Professionally install HVAC equipment and accessory items in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes. Ensure the safe operation of all new installations and correctly instruct customers on proper care and maintenance. Be willing to learn and grow as part of a progressive customer service-oriented team. Create a positive relationship with customers; offer for sale other company products and services and demonstrate communication and problem-solving to ensure customer satisfaction. Adhere to all safety rules. Never sell the customer a repair they do not need. Explain the benefits of newer highly efficient equipment to the customer. Maintain the company vehicle to a neat, clean, and safe standard. Successfully obtain HVAC leads and enroll CPP to company performance targets. Qualifications and licenses A growth mindset: dependable, ambitious, and looking to grow. Must meet company requirements with respect to general qualifications and have completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent. Certificate of Qualification (C of Q) as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario 313D). Gas Technician 2 (G2) license. Valid ODP certificate. At least a Class G Drivers License. Willing and able to work rotating shifts as required. Physically capable of performing all work required for this position. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand and learn new technologies (e.g., electronics/electricity). Willing to wear the company-provided uniform. We are an equal opportunity employer.
